What we sell
We produce, distribute and sell our own Complete Organic, all natural handmade soaps and skincare products using natural and organic ingredients of only the purest quality and from sustainable sources wherever possible.
In addition, we sell a range of organic glycerine soaps for special occasions using a pure organic vegetable oil base containing a choice of either pure essential oils or cosmetic grade synthetic fragrances for those not quite ready yet to go completely natural.
We have now started producing natural soy candles containing only pure, organic essential oils.

| What do we mean by organic?
All but a very few of our soaps & skincare products are completely organic. Any that are not are marked 'All Natural'.
Our products at a glance
At present, The following products are not completely organic:
- Any of our soaps or milk baths containing goat's milk - we cannot source organic goat's milk economically. All other ingredients are organic.
- our cornstarch (used as an alternative to talc in Body and Foot Powders) is not organic.
- Any creams using lanolin (the fat obtained from sheep's wool) is not organic and cannot be guaranteed pesticide-free
- The wheat used in our Aromatherapy Wheat Bags is not organic, but the essential oils are
- The linseed in our Aromatherapy Eye Pillows is not organic, but the essential oils are
- The soy wax in our Soy Aromatherapy Candles is not organic, but the essential oils used are
To make absolutely clear, any of our products that are not completely organic are marked All Natural to avoid confusion.
For those of you wanting a more in-depth explanation:
Not all ingredients are available as certified organic, and some are not even available as 'organically grown'. Some, like water for instance, can't be called 'organic' so we use water from natural springs as opposed to distilled or filtered water that to us has lost its living nature.
Where these are not yet available, we use the purest we can find, or 'wild crafted' which basically means grown in the wild away from possible contamination by pesticides.
You will notice that, unlike some sites, we only label our products 'organic' if they contain only organically-grown ingredients.
Rather than saying 'contains 98% organic ingredients' and leave you wondering what it is that isn't organic, we explain here that if our products are not yet completely organic, we would rather mark them as 'all natural' rather than 'organic'.
We think this is fairer to you, the customer.

You can make purchases using PayPal (fast and easy), NoChex, or any of the following credit cards, either online, over the telephone, or through the standard mail:

We do not accept payment by invoice or bank transfer without prior agreement with us.
We do not advise sending your credit card details in an email, as this is not a secure method of sending confidential information.
If paying by cheque, please allow three working days for the cheque to clear before your order can be processed.

| Shipping Charges
With the rise in shipping costs, we now have to charge all our retail customers according to the weight of goods purchased. This charge is clearly shown at the checkout.
As a reward to those customers who join our Soap Club subscription membership service, however, all postage on UK orders is free.

| Wholesale & Trade Enquiries
In addition to online retail selling direct to customers, Essentially Natural are actively seeking retail outlets and wholesale buyers who wish to buy in bulk quantities from us. As a rough guide, our wholesale prices are at a 42% reduction on the retail price. Having said that, this depends on the quantity required, whether or not you need our products to be packaged and labelled, and whether you have your own carrier.
