Our organic and all natural shampoo bars are made with only natural spring water from the NW of England to give you the purest product possible.

The shampoo bars come to you wrapped in mulberry tissue paper shot through with pure silk, which makes an unusual gift wrap.

(For vegans, the shampoo bars come in vegan-approved greaseproof paper).

All our products avoid the use of alcohol so are kind to sensitive skin, and contain no ingredients tested on animals.

While all our soaps are suitable for vegetarians, all our vegan products are marked (v) after their name.

"Our first solid shampoo bar, made at the time with eggs from our own free-range hens. I did try making a shampoo bar with beer, but that one didn't quite work - maybe because there was never enough flat beer left to make it with."

The organic castor oil used in the shampoo acts as a conditioner, adding sheen to the hair.

Rosemary is said to counteract balding but is in any case wonderful on all hair types, especially dark hair.
