Purchasing

Please note the following: When you reach the checkout page, if we are out of stock on any of the items you have ordered you will be notified, and the items will be removed from your order.

If you do not wish to pay by credit card online, you can pay over the phone, by FAX, or send your credit details through the mail, or, if you wish, you can pay by cheque. You can also pay through PayPal if you have an account with them.

You can pay by invoice only by prior agreement with us.

(We do not advise sending details of your credit card by email as this may not be encrypted by your mail server – call us and we will take details over the telephone).

Shipping And Handling

Orders are shipped according to their weight.

Soap Club members, however, receive shipping within the UK free.

For UK orders, shipping is by first class post with delivery normally expected within 2-3 days after shipping.

Orders to the EU are charged at a slightly higher rate.

For all other overseas orders, we advise that you proceed with the order until you have confirmed the shipping charge and paid any excess shipping charges.

If you wish to make other shipping arrangements, or if you are placing a large order, please contact us for details.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to despatch your order as soon as possible, normally within 3-5 business days. International orders are generally despatched in 7-10 days. (Please be aware that large or wholesale orders will need more time to process).

Please  note also that we only carry very small amounts of our skincare items as we prefer to make them up fresh when ordered. It may take a week for your order to reach you on these items.

If an item is out of stock, or if there are likely to be delays for any reason we will, of course, let you know.

Back Orders


If your item is not in stock when we process your order, we will notify you and place the out of stock items.  As soon as they become available again they will be shipped to you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel the out-of-stock items from your order if you would rather not wait, and a refund on those cancelled items will be given.

Credit Card Security

When you order by credit card online, you are transferred to a SSL secure server, so you need have no concerns about your details being seen by others. Once the transaction has been completed only the last four digits of the credit card are retained, this is only used for reference purposes.

At Essentially Natural we guarantee your total satisfaction with our products. All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee, but please read our Returns Policy below.

Please be aware that all our soaps, candles and skincare products are handmade and that no two will look exactly alike - this is the charm of buying handmade rather than mass-produced goods. There will be some variation within a batch of soap, so even if you buy ten at one time the colour and texture may vary slightly. This is normal and is, as said, part of the process of producing handmade products.  

Product images should be used as a guide only.

Privacy Policy

At Essentially Natural we do not disclose information about you to third parties, except for delivery purposes. Cookies are only used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store the delivery addresses.

Data collected by this site is only used to:
a) Take and fulfill customer orders
b) Administer and enhance the site and service
c) Monitor customer account status

Returns Policy

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our products, you have statutory rights to return them to us within 14 days of receipt.

Please notify us either by email or telephone as soon as you are aware of the problem so we can give you a returns tracking number. We would advise you to return goods by recorded delivery to ensure we receive your returns and to cover against accidental loss in transit.  Unless prior agreement has been reached between you and Essentially Natural we cannot offer a refund on opened jars and bottles, a replacement may be sent at our discretion

Remittance Terms

All orders must be paid for by cash, credit/debit card, or cheque at time of purchase. Invoices can only be accepted by prior arrangement.

If paying by invoice, please pay within 14 days of receipt of invoice. This helps our cash flow and will benefit all of us.
